If the platforms were transparent and had fish inside i'd buy them.
I had some shoes like this… soft soles platforms are too bouncy and though are fun are too prone to sprain ankles if an unexpected change in terrain or other pathway interference is encountered.
Imagine someone running to catch public transport with it. :)

Great shoes but they arrived filthy. Can't be bothered sending them back to the UK, someone at the op shop will love them.
Email Sportsdirect and let them know, they are usually ok with refunding for faulty/problem orders.
