just walk into Myer and ask them to knock off 10% from the MacBook , they will in all probability.
One of the Myer guys told me they can knock 10% of the laptops not on phones-watches etc.It is a terrible time to buy a MacBook Pro. The current models are underpowered, overpriced and their idiotic lack of ports condemns you to spending hundreds on adaptors.*

Unless you can find something further than 10% off, I'd say don't purchase.
You wont be getting an increase in ports with newer models, but considering you could've got 10% off months ago, wait if you can for the next gen which will have Coffee Lake processors which are a pretty big upgrade, especially at only 10% extra (assuming prices remain).
Also eager to upgrade as currently using a 12" MacBook from 2015, and holding out for the next lineup which should be in a few months.
