Is it possible to buy a cheap zigbee security kit in Australia? I want it to include a camera, few door window sensors,
few motion sensors. Since I don't want to invest into Zwave kit which are so expensive, I found that there were some
cheap kits in China. But do we have some locally? My budget is around $250. They system needs to be remote viewable and stable without a lot of offline. It looks like there is not much demand here thus I couldn't find some cheap kits. Thanks.
Please don't recommend Xiaomi cos they have a lot of problems on cameras outside of China. I prefer kits with local
certifications if possible especially on electric side.

+1 Xiaomi. Look into home assistant if you are the diy type for more powerful automation.
local certifications - rules our xiaomi, even if it was not listed as excluded!
Have looked for something similar but found nothing yet. Use xiaomi and HA for some stull, but be aware that unless you have the hub and HA on ups, it all fails.
