  • @CableGeek,
Do you have USB 3.1 Gen 2 USB-C to USB-A Male Adapters?
I noticed that you have above the Anker USB-C to USB-A Female Adapter, but I need a USB-A Male on it.
    Thank you Very Much,
    George

USB-C Female to USB-A Male: That wouldn't be compliant with the spec. USB-C is not designed for this.
      USB-C Male to USB-A Male: That's basically a cable, e.g. https://www.cablegeek.com.au/shop/cables/usb-type-c/anker-po…

      • Thank you Very Much for your reply.
Yes, I am after USB-C Male to USB-A Male, but want it as short as possible and USB 3.1 Gen 2 rated.
Even ideally without any cable length, just the 2 connectors.
Do you have anything like that?
Edit: I just saw that you have them, but are only USB 3.0 Gen 1 rated
Do you have any USB 3.1 Gen 2 rated Adapters?
Edit 2: the adapters you have are USB-C Male to USB-A Female and NOT USB-A Male

I'd avoid adapters for USB-C. For USB 3.1 Gen 2, I'd suggest this cable.

We don't have any short USB-C to USB-A cables at the moment. It's unlikely that you will reach Gen 2 speeds with a USB-A port at the other end.

        • @CableGeek: Thank you VERY Much for your replies and valuable info

          @keengeorge:

That's available for $20 @ Myers, if you're interested in the Belkin model.

@Detective Pikachu: Thank you VERY Much for the info

        • I am after USB-C Male to USB-A Male (USB 3.1 Gen 2), and as short as possible.

Error with checkout code, minimum spend = 100, I have over that in the checkout, wont let me apply

    • +1

Thanks for letting us know. We incorrectly marked it as $100 pre-tax. This has been fixed now — you will get 10% off if the order value is more than $100 including GST.

      • After refreshing etc it still will not apply discount, I have $147.00 in the checkout, so I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here

        • Unfortunately I cannot reproduce your error on my end. Have you tried re-adding all the items to the cart?

        • @CableGeek: I had the same issue at $125 and couldnt apply the code, so dropped an item down to $80 and proceeded with one battery pack less and no 10% :(

        • @CableGeek:

Closed, refreshed, added back to cart etc, still get the error: https://i.imgur.com/gCVbfe3.jpg

          @dvstec:

Thanks for the screenshot. Probably a caching problem on our end. Please refresh and try once again. Sorry.

        • @CableGeek:

          Worked now, Thankyou

  • Have any powerbanks with PD?

Thanks for this. I just paid full price for the Anker lightning cables a couple of months ago, nice to pick up some extra ones at a cheap price.

Note that these cables are an additional 10% off if you buy two or more. I just bought:

    Anker PowerLine+ Lightning to USB Cable (0.9m) × 2

and it cost $35.92. That's almost half price.

Remember to select the free shipping option at checkout.

  • I see you have monoprice listed.. but not the item I'm after. Do you do order-in's? I'm after 250ft 12AWG plenum speaker cable. No hurry, it'll take me forever (possibly literally) to get around to setting up my stuff (I have two very young kids)

  • With the wireless charger (https://www.cablegeek.com.au/shop/power/wireless-charging/an…), does the on/off switch just affect the LED light? If so, this would be good for having my phone on overnight.
