Hi Y'all
My OP3T recently fell victim to the infamous focus issue, whereby the camera is unable to focus properly. I have confirmed its a manufacturing defect, as the issue persists on different ROMS. My warranty period recently has ended and OnePlus said they will not cover shipping costs to and from Hong Kong. So my options include:
- DIY (approx $30)
- Get it repaired it by Oneplus (approx over $100 in shipping)
- Get it repaired it locally (recommendations?)
I'm edging towards DIY, as it doesn't look too hard. However its my first time opening up a sealed phone such as the OP3T.
I know this issue is common, so I'm asking if anyone else has had this problem, if then how did you fix it?
