[Price Error] XPG GAMMIX S10 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD 512GB $61 + Delivery @ JW Computers via Amazon AU

Moved to Forum: Original Link

Similar to deal posted by store rep before hand, but this time its $61 for 512GB, which i think is superb.

I havent heard of the brand before but quick google search found that they are pretty alright.

delivery charge may varies as I got charged $9. Tried to add other stuff to meet $79 AMAZON20 requirement but it didnt seem to work.

  • Looking at the other sizes price, it look like a price error. With such a huge difference I don’t think it will be honoured.

How many did you order 😜

      • None. Got nothing against those who order it. Just a head up to those who order it, there is a chance of it being cancel.

        • JW is honoring this despite it being a price error. Note the listing only states 3 sold and the price is only around $90-100 under typical Lenovo sale prices - not as steep to honor when the customer is spending $1,000.

No clue how much these drives wholesale for, but if it is only 10-20 orders they may honor… Just expect cancellation emails if anyone tries to Broden it.

    • Yeah, its literally half the price of the 128gb version

      • Those prices are inflated retail prices, but it is still similarly priced to the 256GB deal earlier today. Either these were meant to be $261, or it was meant to be another great deal for the 256GB model.

  • fantastic deal

  • Thanks! Ordered one. Let's see if it comes

AMAZON20 is only for items sold and fulfilled by Amazon AU, not third party stores. That's why it didn't work.

  • item no longer available?

    • +12

Your username checked out. You were L8 as usual.

  • Yeah seems like the item has disappeared.
I wonder if my order will get shipped.

Do you guys ever sleep? lol

Thanks OP, got one and my PC doesn't even support M2 :(

    • Do you received the cancel email or confirmed email?

      • Got a confirmation email straight away from amazon

  • Man I got one of the recent SSD deals but this one blows them all out of the water!

  • +2

Looks like this is still active but with a note saying "usually ships within 2-3 days"
Thanks for the deal! These ozbargain deals are putting me into the negative lately ;)

  • Ordered one! We'll see if they honor it. Total came to around $76 with delivery to Perth

  • I am still using z87 mobo, tempted to buy it even though I can't use it

    • Me to, but I think Z87 board can make use of this using M.2 to PCI-e adapter…

      • wont get the full speed i think?

    • Z97 support the same CPUs and have an m.2 slot. See if you can find one second hand.

  • It came around ~$69 delivery to Brisbane.

  • Got 2. Thanks!!

  • Item price back to normal now?

    • Yeah looks like it came down to 61 briefly. Maybe someone Broden the deal :/

      • Damn :( Just when I clicked checkout too :(

  • +2

Yeah price was updated just before I could checkout :(

    • yep me too. Bummer. Lets see if its honored for the people that got in on it.

  • these use crucial 3d 32 layer nand, so the first gen 3d from intel and crucial but a great cheap way to get into m2 for a new build or as pcie expansion. ….5 year warranty.

  • I managed to buy 1 when it briefly went back to 61. I did the 1 click order. Took ages for the confirmation email to come through but it just did

  • Guys, do let us know if seller honoured the deal or not :D.

  • Ordered one last night, got the confirmation email from Amazon as well.

  • Order cancelled

    Dear Shopper,

Unfortunately we are writing to you to let you know that there has been a major blunder on our end with Syncing/Pricing. Our 512gb listing for the ADATA XPG S10 M.2 drive was incorrectly synced with the 128gb listing, and as a result there has been an obvious pricing error.

We apologise profusely for this error. We didn’t catch onto this error when it was first incorrectly synced last night, as it was Sunday night and we had no staff working in the Warehouse. We literally woke up to an explosion of orders (150>) and realised immediately this morning what had happened.

Since the listing is incorrectly linked/synced to the 128GB inventory levels also; we don’t have anywhere near the correct inventory even if we tried to honour the deals and we have since taken the product offline.

Again, on behalf of all the staff here, we are sorry. This doesn’t happen often. But when it does, it’s important we correct the issue and learn from these mistakes to ensure they don’t happen again at the end of the day we are all humans and its fair to say as human we do tend to make some sort of mistake in our life and we are learning from our mistake.

Once again sorry about the mistake and thank you for your time.

    • I just got the email as well…bummer.

    • No email yet. But most likely will be cancelled.

    • -4

Well I didnt get the email yet either. So if a pricing error and nobody gets anything its time to start neg'ing the deal?

  • +5

I got the cancellation email. there is no point neg'ing the deal, as the OP posted a good deal. It was an error on behalf of JW.

    • +2

Wow I suggested negging the deal so that potential buyers dont get fooled etc and I already got negative replies. Its representative of the *bargain and not even targeted at guy who posted it who presumably thought it was a bargain originally. And its also NOT a bargain when its a pricing error and youre NOT getting a product out of it. Jeez some guys.

      • +2

Yep, this shouldn't go down as a bargain as it was unattainable

  • Any apology credit from amazon? when i purchased a price error item a few months ago, they sent me $50 amazon credit. It wasn't even amazon's fault, it was a 3rd party seller on the AU marketplace. Have they stopped offering credit for stuff-ups?

    • I don't know, You can try amazon live support. I don't think JW going to honor anything. I mean they could easily honor all orders but they would be losing money, def not a stock issue. You can source from distributors really easily.

  • -2

I paid $200 aud just a few months ago for this off Amazon us.

    Wow that's cheap

  • Is there anyone who haven't had their order cancelled? Order still pending or delivered (unlikely)?

    Thanks
