Not sure why'd you get this over the gsync models recently posted.

Unless you really hate gamer looks… But for some reason still want a ultra wide with 100hz

Were they as cheap as this? Also Freesync for AMD users.

      • They were around $100 more. It's a no brainer for me. Not to mention Nvidia cards have been dominant for years….

        • @Riczter:
The predator is a better display in real life and a 1080 is now cheaper than a VEGA!
          Tables have turned

@FickleRick: Yeah but it is a nightmare for us who should have upgraded a year ago. Come on AMD and nvidia give us the details on your new crap!
I am stuck. Yeah could have bought a 1080 and then would be stuck having to have 3 matching monitors for surround gaming. Or buy a RX580 and have to dial down graphics etc.
I have been ready for an ultrawide, but can't until I know if I will be Free or G syncing. Freesync has got to be the better option considering its involvement with standards, but will they have the card I want.

My 7970HD is depressing. In reality I should have just bought a GTX1080 last year, but it is too late. At least I have sorted not to be too concerned re price vs actually having something to use.

    • I'm team Red mate.

    • Not sure what you are suggesting, Is this monitor not good for the price? Also, not everyone has Nvidia cards to make use of g-sync, and some people might not prefer gamer looks. That does not mean they don't play games.

      • The gsync module costs $2-300 alone. This isn't good value. Generally the AMD cards will struggle at the resolution/fps this is capable of anyway. You'd be better off with a gsync Nvidia combo. Unless the cleaner look is worth that much to you… I'd take the better hardware every time.

I believe the others have better panels anyway.

  • Sorry Off the topic. Does this AMEX offer has different than last time? It allow in one or more transactions online or instore and total transactions value are over $350 to receive the cashback. AM I correct?

  • Ouch! I paid $1199 for mine 2 months ago. I should've been more patient.

    • Do you enjoy it so far? anything you dont like? how was gaming experience if you do? Thanks
