Eagle Boys Review - Crap Pizza for $19

Will never purchase from these guys at Mt druitt again. They are rip offs. Their customer service is just the worst. I ordered a pizza on my way from work which if i would have ordered online would have come to $14.95 but they charged me $19.00. Even when i asked the girl nicely to see whether they are having any promotions. Nope i had to pay $19.00

Then to make me feel worse they decide to give me some vouchers with the same pizza costing me about $14.95. That's just wrong.

Their pizza was the worst i had tasted. Even dominos pizza are better for $5.50. Soaking with sauce you could barely pick it up to eat. All the topping would just slide off when picking up a slice.

I was a fan of eagle boys but never again am i ever placing an order. Thanks guys for spoiling my day.

  • You paid $19 at a takeaway pizza place? Thats what you pay for gourmet…

Eagle Boys have always been on par with Dominos and Pizza Hut, the only difference was the size is 2" bigger.

You can nearly buy 4 Dominos Pizza's with that, you did indeed get ripped off.

I either buy from Dominos for around $5, or buy gourmet for $20.

  • is that one pizza or 3-4?

    EDIT: answered my own question

I ordered a pizza on my way from work which if i would have ordered online would have come to $14.95 but they charged me $19.00

i am assuming you bought 1 pizza with extra things—>toppings, crust, half and half, etc

  • $19 for an Eagle Boys pizza? You do know they price-match Dominoes right?

  • I think Eagle Boys bought out Pizza Haven, my local one suddenly changed to it anyhow. It is now CRAP!

I am sticking to gourmet now. Cannot stand receiving the wrong order or missing items when delivered by various other joints eg. Pizza Hut and Dominos. All the same CRAP!

      wow, really?
i store is good, i have never had issues with them before, i rarely order though
i never have received the wrong order, received a different pizza, etc

  • i much rather stick with independant pizza joints, but ive only had smug delivery guys from dominos, really though, everyone is going to get a shit pizza once in a while, and it can be from anyshop, its up to us to find the good shops.

  • Ordering online is cheaper at Dominos and Eagle Boys. I go there because they do Gluten free. The not matching the online prices instore seems silly. I actually have stood in store and ordered on my iphone to save $4.

  • I got 2 the other day from Eagle Boys at North Parramatta. Cost me $25 (1 @ $11 and 1 @ $25

Horrid. Cheese crust was not cheezy. Thin and "medium pan" crusts both the same. Toppings and sauce bland, cheese sparce. Just awful. Never again.

  • I ordered 1 premium pizza. I added extra pepperoni for $3 and extra jalapenos for $2.00. Altogether total should have come to $14.50. But instore they bloody charge me like $19. i was suprised myself and asked the chick about these vouchers they have mailed out which said premium pizzas from $9.95 and she said u need to have the voucher blah blah blah etc. When i got my order after waiting there for like 15mins without any aircon i got a box of crappy pizza and some coupons with the exact deal i asked her about.

Its not just that but for $19 i was expecting something good and this pizza was really worse then dominos 5.50 pizzas. Never again

  • dominos
    5 bucks
    i dont expect much
as long as it has toppings its fine with me
of course gourmet pizzas will be better
but 5 bucks thats a bargain

pizza is the only thing thats gone cheaper over the years, maccas kfc etc have all risen in prices!

  • I would never go eagle boy..

Dominos does me fine for $3-$5 depending on coupons available at the time. If you know what your doing you can score premium pizzas for traditional price by swapping a few toppings online.
