Do Those Nespresso Kiosks in Shopping Centres Give You Free Coffee to Try?

Does anyone know if those Nespresso kiosks at shopping centres like Indro or Chermside give out free coffee?

I've seen them making them on the machines, but my friends all think you have to pay for them. I realise you have to buy the pods, but what if you just want to try? (Or get free coffee)

    • This is a marvellous turn of phrase!

      • I think that's the direct literal translation of a Chinese phrase. Could also be a phrase in other languages.

  • They are free as a taste tester

    Walk in and find out!!!

But yes they are free, sometimes you have to go through the 'sales pitch' if you get bailed up by a pushy sales person.

  • I've been to the one at Chatswood NSW, few mechines' there for you to try out.

  • yes, they make you any amount you want, you can try any pod you like for free. I have had this done in Brisbane CBD and Chermside. However I have never been able to try more than 2 at once cause i'm buzzing off the coffee. (Source: Me, I buy nespresso pods fortnightly, and always try different ones for free at either Chermside or Brisbane CBD

  • It's free, but it doesn't taste like coffee.

  • Only if you put out
