This seems to be a pretty good deal with current ebay discount.

    This is the old model with dual core 7th generation CPU.

    The new model with 8th gen quad can be had for around $1800, but at this kind of price point, you won't have the nice goodies like WQHD display and the gigantic 512GB SSD plus 4G LTE modem.

      Thanks for highlighting. I am not going to perform multiple tasks so likely this should be fine. Seems this appears to be a pretty good deal with 3 years warranty.

    Spend a bit more and get gen 8 cpu. Huge different between 7th and 8th.

      Is it the price difference worth the improvement in performance during day to day unsophisticated usage?
