Oh awesome, Heavy Rain! Beyond: Two Souls was free a couple of months ago, but I've wanted to replay Heavy Rain for ages. Good pick, Sony.

For those with US PS+ subs, US PSN is getting Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess for PS3 instead of Extreme Exorcism.

    • I got that last year one month on my Indo PS+, funny how they jumble the regions around.

  • +2

Zero time dilemma would be very good

    • Strange they're giving the Vita version but I guess they haven't got much to give away for Vita.

      • Probably because ZTD Vita was released 2 years ago and ZTD PS4 was released September 2017

      • It's one of the jewels of that platform.

It plays better on Vita anyway due to the touch screen for puzzles.

    Heavy Rain isn't a game.

      It's a movie.

    • You got a problem with point and click adventure genre of games?

    • Especially when we just had Beyond: Two Souls the other month… God dammit Cage quit clogging up the free games each month.

      • I wouldn't mind if he gave us Detroit next month…

  • Been keen on heavy rain for a while now. My back catalogue of games I need to play/finish is getting so long lol

Just like me you'll never get to them.

Especially when new additions keep coming in!

I've had to stop myself from getting new games to start playing my backlog and it's been great.

Finally got round to finishing Farpoint on psvr and it's now one of my favourite VR experiences. Never knew how much the game changes after 2 hours in.

Hoping my next game I need to complete God of War gives me the same satisfaction.

Then it's on to Wolfenstein The New Order

      Then Wolfenstein II

Then the last of us expansion

      Then Tomb Raider.

      Then Dishonored II

Let's see if I can get there…. my biggest interruption is freakin fortnite and buying the battlepass. That just makes it a full-time commitment I wasn't ready to commit to. I'm saving my v-bucks I recouped and skipping a season or two.

I don’t download the new games but I still purchase them whilst free on the off chance one day I’ll want to download them and play them.

        • I do the same thing. I add them to my list and when I want to play them will download them then

  • Any decent PS Plus sub deals around? Mine's coming up in a few weeks and I stupidly missed the recent deals.

EB has 25% off 3 month subs until July 8

      • +2

Yeah but dont try and find it online because the new website is a mess and PS Plus isnt even available from there.

I bought PS Plus (SEA) last year. PS Plus SEA is generally cheaper ($38 for 12 months - no reward point) but:

      • You need to create a PSN SEA account (sign up through one of the PSN SEA sites).
      • Free games are not always the same. For example, Heavy Rain was on the free game list for May 2018 for SEA.
      • You get different region version of the games (so saved games might often be incompatible despite being English version).
      • Some of the free games use different button layouts - i.e. O and X buttons swapped. You often cannot adjust the button layout in game (and not all games have the buttons swapped).

If you have a lot of free games you intend to continue playing, then it is best to find a PS Plus AUS deal. If not, you could consider PS Plus SEA. For example, if you are a fan of Heavy Rain, then you'll need an active PS Plus AUS (as PS+ SEA had it for May 2018 - too late to get it now).

AU Playstation has 25% off at their 3mth sub the moment on the online store. Thankfully I got the 12month one a couple of weeks ago. Obviously be aware that it will revert to the full price ($33.95) at the end of the 3mths, so could be more hassle than it's worth.

*Save 25% on a 3 month PlayStation Plus Subscription This promotion opens on 27 June 2018 at 10:00 (BST) and closes on 9th July 2018 at 10:00 (BST).

    • Check the PS store - been on special for a while now. Now it's only a deal for 3 months but still good

    • The 3 months netflix with 3 months playstation store subscription offer is still going till 4th July

where can i find cheap ps+ codes?

  • What an epic month!

  • Zero Time Dilemma is really good.

But make sure you've played the first two games in the series, 999 and Virtue's Last Reward.

ZTD is actually the weakest in the series, but if you love a good story and don't mind watching a lot of cutscenes (it's really a visual novel with voice acting), it has a great plot, dark atmosphere, and mind blowing twists you won't see coming.

Was really hoping that Heavy Rain would eventually come. I bought it on PS3 but never ended up playing it because PS4 just came out afterwards when I bought it and never finished my back log and haven't turned on the PS3 since.
