Google Chrome Help "waiting for cache"

Hey all.

hoping someone can help.

Using google chrome. once every few days, when opening a new tab or browsing windows, chrome decides to stop working and freeze for a while with the message 'waiting for cache'.

Even with clearing the cache and history this still happens and takes a good few mins before things start working again.

Anyone else have this, and anyone know how to stop this from happening. Very annoying.

  I've seen it once or twice but I can't remember whether it fixed itself or a new release fixed it. You could try updating to the most recent release.

  Possibly a problem with your computer hardware, otherwise there is always the restore Chrome to default settings option. :)

  Flush your DNS as well?
