NBN Telstra - Best Value Options

Hi all,

We finally have NBN in our neighbourhood! YAY - I think!

We are currently with Telstra for internet and mobile and if we have any internet issues I can hotspot from my phone - this works well for me as I run a business from home and need the internet to operate continously.

I have decided to stick with Telstra for the NBN to hopefully eleviate any Issues, as I can hotspot and claim back data usage… We currently have the Telstra with Foxtel and Telstra TV package.

We want to keep Foxtel and Telstra TV… my long winded question… Whats the best deal - you guys have been so awesome of advising me how to get a better deal than what is advertised online. Currently we are looking at the $129 option, but we also have to add our 2nd room foxtel box and extra sports and drama packages… so things get expensive!

Can I do better than whats Advertised??

Thanks in advance :)

  • Call Telstra sales and make a deal.

    • Tried that.. .they wont even match the discounts I have with them currently :( Also we got cut off twice and the 1st time they rang me back and said it had happened a couple of time to them today and the 2nd time they didn't bother to call me back!!!! NOT happy

      • Call them back and tell them you're going to Optus.

  • I would go over to foxtel now, no need for a 2nd box, so there is a saving right away, I moved away from telstra and went to Aussie broadband. Best decision ever. And worth a look

  • When you visit at Telstra shop than compare with optus.

  • Quote - need the internet to operate continously.

Probably best not to go with an NBN service then. It's been down far more often than Mobile broadband.

Ring them and make a deal.

    • Don't think that's a fair review of the NBN, mine's been solid since day 1 and much much better than ADSL2.

      Perhaps it's your ISP?
