So, my friends and I are wanting to go thirds in a 3D printer.
We primarily want to use it to print out small doors, CHESTS, traps, and figures for games like Gloomhaven and Mansions of Madness.. Probably the max height would be 10cm.
We don't know much about them so any advice would be really appreciated.
We would like to spend under $150 each so up to $450 total.

A resin printer would give you the highest level of detail, but the resin itself is still pretty expensive. I'd go for a small FDM printer as they're reliable, cheap and the filament won't cost too much. I recently purchased a CR-10 of Banggood for just over $500, which would be complete overkill for your purposes as it has a build area of 300x300x400. How tech-savvy are you and your friends? I'd be inclined to get a printer that requires little to no setup and tinkering so you can get right onto printing your models.
