Anyone Use Choice Transformer Service to Compare Electricity Providers?

Hi guys,

Just interested to see if anyone has made use of the Choice Transformer Electricity service. Given it is a relatively new platform there are very few reviews to date.

Basically a user emails an electricity bill which is automatically compared across multiple provides. The site claim that this will be a continual process following a subscription of $99 per year which will automatically sign up to a new provider should a cheaper one become available.

To date I have sent two bills. The first stated I could save $1350 pa; second $945 pa.

Interested to hear from anyones experiences.

  • Submitted my bill when it launched still no response or results.
(Did get confirmation that they had gotten my info etc )
been a while now, i ended up doing the $50 compare on the vic government site and found my current provider (red energy) was best for me

  • I have used it, and paid for the switch. What did you want to know?

  • I think it's more than meets the eye

  • I signed up. After 2 weeks, they set me with AGL. AGL called 3 days later with irrelevant questions like did I shop around? I told AGL person I did not see the reason to answer these but she needed it to set the account up. I told her to send me a email of the questions. No email now a week later. Transformer team is understaffed so dont expect quick customer service.
