    I second this. Anyone have one of these and can confirm if its a generic camera and supports RTSP and isn't locked to the app? I am very keen for a few if its generic.

    Some baby monitors don't use Wi-Fi, like the oricom sc850. The camera pans and tilts and can be used in a dark room. No sd card recording or app though. The battery in the viewing station lasts 2-3 years and a replacement costs $45 from oricom.

  GOt the cam yesterday. Disappointed so far. Was very tough to set up.
  The stupid app on my iPhone refused to connect using all means. I finally installed it on my android phone.
  Today at work, the cam is not in the app anymore. Its asking me to add a device. facepalm
