Is It Worth Buying Sheridan Sheets Still?

I was gonna bite the bullet and get a few quilt sets while they're on sale, but after a quick google search, I found a stack of 1 star reviews in the past 6 months. What's up with that, did something happen? I thought Sheridan was meant to be the goto brand for bedsheets.

  • they are still pretty good - I pick them up when they are ridiculously discounted…..but…..its sheets - If you are a guy you are going to bastardise them with your body oils anyway.

We bought some a year or two back, was meh, not bad but not much better than anything else IMO so if you can get them at the right price then go for it. What we DO like are bamboo sheets, pillow cases. I have yet to try Tencel sheets but might try them out next time we need a replacement. (Need to get pure tencel and not blended though).

    • I've found Ozbargainers to be pretty bad at appreciating quality bed sheets. Bamboo sheets can certainly be nice, but it depends on the brand. Linen is even better if you can afford it and then there's the beauty of silk.

  • Adairs Bamboo cotton

I buy Sheridan factory outlet sheets - cheaper and still good

  • We get the Laura Ashley sets, but only when they are heavily discounted and I like the pattern. They tend to be good quality. I haven't bought Sheridan sheets in a while but worth looking at the outlet stores and checkout a free brands at the same time.

  • I recently took up buying my bed sheets and covers from adairs and Sheridan. I do agree the quality is definitely better you can feel it when your on it. Used to buy the 20-30$ ones from discount store, my purchases have been around 200 each item now 1000tc bamboo cotton etc.

The main reason I guess I moved move to the more expensive one is due to buying new expensive bed.
