Bestway Alwayzaire Queen Air Bed - $125 Anaconda (RRP $249.99)

70

Needed an emergency guest bed for a friend staying over the weekend. Have had excellent experiences with Bestway products in the past including their Spas and other Air Beds so didn't bat an eyelid when I saw this at Anaconda. Was a bit concerned about the 'Alwayzaire' feature being truly silent but it actually is and works amazingly well! Press a button to auto-pump it up to the desired pressure (soft, medium or firm) then leave it plugged in and powered on and it will automatically and silently add more air when required. Amazing! Our friend commented on how comfortable it was too so that's good feedback.

Anyway, Anaconda claim RRP is $249 which is possibly correct but their website states they're $149 for club members however ours rung up at the register for $125 without any need to show club membership (even though I did after the fact) so I assume anyone should be able to get one for $125. Receipt here I've seen these sell elsewhere for $200+ so maybe the RRP is correct afterall. Anyway, hope this helps others in the market for a decent air bed.

  • Damn bought the wanderer for the same price…

    • They look very similar but the Wanderer doesn't have auto top-up via the Alwayzaire system.

      • Yea seems like it would be really nice! Good deal!

  • Auto top-up for the win!

  • An air-bed eh? eh eh eh?

    …. wait, am I thinking of water-beds?

Standard price for a queen air bed.

    • Hmmm, that's a bit of a broad statement. I've seen them range from about $50 through to $400+. There are many types, grades, qualities and features to consider.

        How about this

There are many $100-140 queen airbeds that are the same as this.

At $250 this is a rip off, please let me know what these $400 airbeds do.

Doesn't seem like you read up on the alwayzaire portion of it.

Just did a search and quite impressed with it's function:

Not the same bed but same pump.
Don't think I've seen any other airbed with such a feature.

        • @blacknwhite1: Yeah, not a bad unit at all and unlike any other I've seen… but apparently all queen airbeds are the same so what do I know ;)
