  • A normal Citibank Plus account allows fee free international transfers with no monthly account holding fees.

  • I don't think HSBC has a monthly account fee.
I'd like to know more about this myself.

  • +1

You can likely find all the differences by reviewing the account details on the websites you provided yourself.

    • but he wanted to know how consumers compare them, not how banks presented them.

  • Looks like no monthly fee anymore

  • Schedule of fees is confusing…
Says monthly service fee is $0 for Citibank.
But in the notes… will waive for 1st 90 days of account opening or Citigold or Priority customer…..

  • Online web chat says it is still $8.
Waived for 1st 90 days or Citigold or Priority customer

  • Talked to their call centre… monthly fee is defintely 0 now

  • Bump old thread - HSBC seems to charge you whenever someone tries to EFT money to your HSBC account - a definite no-go
