  • What's the expiry date (activation)?

    • Hi Kourosh,

We advise all our customers to recharge within 60 days of purchase.

      Thanks

      Team Lebara

      • Thanks,
My current contract with Telstra will finish in 3 months so I won't be able to use this deal. Will there be another sale in next couple of months?

        • Hi Kuorosh,

We can arrange to extend the validity of your plan for another 30 days if that helps.

Just privately message us your order details once you have purchased and we can set that up.

That said- we do have these kinds of offers running regularly, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding this offer in the future :)

          Thanks!
          Team Lebara

  • Pretty sure these were $109 not $225

    • when was this ? I recently purchased one of these for a mate on specials for $119, haven't seen them any cheaper than this recently.

    • I've only ever seen this go as low as $119. When was it available for $109?

    • +1

my bad. 109 is for the 5GB.

      • That was about $99 couple of weeks ago.

    • Hi Debell,

I think you are confusing this with a Medium 180 day promo. Medium 180 day SIM comes with 5GB. And yes, we had that product on promo for $109 recently.

      Thanks

      Team Lebara

      • you're also confusing me with Debell =)

        • Sorry, dabell!

great deal, i just activated mine last night (porting my existing number) and was worried because all the emails/doco showed that i was applying the 6 month plan on the new number. thankfully that must be an oversight in the system and 12 hours later (at 8am the next morning) my number was ported over successfully. so anyone with queries around switching, at first it looks strange but it fixes itself

  • I'm a dumbass but how do I port my number? Do I just buy this kit first and I'm able to do that, or do I need to do something else.

    • +1

Buy the kit. On the lebara page you register the SIM. Towards the end of the process you'll have the option to type in your old number. They send it an SMS. Then after you do all that, put the new SIM in.

Their login page will use the new phone number attached to the SIM at first, then later you can log in with your old (ported) number.

      • Cheers for the help mate!

      Hi La838,

Yes, you can purchase this SIM pack. We will send you an email with your recharge voucher pin within 48 hours of purchase, and a SIM will be delivered to your address with 5-7 business days.

Once your SIM arrives, you can visit www.lebara.com.au/activate and follow the simple porting steps.

Once your SIM is activated and ported, you can recharge your Lebara number with your voucher pin.

      Thanks

      Team Lebara

      • Thanks yo much will do :)

  • Lebara internet has been very pathetic lately. I don't even get the 4G signal on my phone when traveling on the train/bus. 16GB data/month will be useless if this keeps on happening.

    • Syd or melb

    • Hey there, sorry to hear that you've been having coverage issues.

We do advise all potential customers to check the coverage for their area or location at the following link: https://www.vodafone.com.au/network/coverage-checker
If the coverage checkers shows that you should have full 4G coverage for your area, please feel free to privately message us your mobile number and location, and we can have a look into the issue for you.

      Thanks!

      Team Lebara

  • Wahooo. Thought I missed out after the last one!

  • Great thanks Rep! Found reception to be a bit spotty but nothing too inconvenient if I stay within the suburbs

  • Thanks OP. I ordered 2 last night to stack up for 1 year.

The vouchers didn't come through straight away similar to Kogan. I had to chat with their support on live chat in the morning in order to obtain it.

Also the live chat customer service was slow as. I will see how the activation and porting goes and I will keep you guys posted.

    • Hi there!

Thank you for the feedback. There may have been a delay in response time for live chat as we have had an unexpected volume of inquiries relating to our current promos. We are working on improving this.

Let us know how you go with porting and activation, and remember you can always message us on here if you need a hand with anything :)

      Thanks!

  • Hi everyone,
I just joined Lebara last month after seeing the advertised specials on OzBargain. It says you can stack up to 24months of recharge but it DID NOT mentioned the correct steps on how to "STACK UP". After you bought extra recharge vouchers during Lebara's promotions, you will receive email of the voucher and on a small print it says the voucher will Expire in 60 days.

Do not let the voucher sits on your email. Recharge it into your account/number even though your current recharge has not expire or used up. It will park/register/stack up the voucher(s) in the system.

In my case, I bought 2 x 180days recharge. I only up to my first 30days of 180days in my first recharge (expire on 30/12/2018). After I recharge/stack up my second 180days recharge voucher, the website shows my new expiry is 28/6/2018.

Note: use MS Excel to calculate your expiry date. Open a new XLS sheet, enter the date as DD/MM/YYYY and press enter. On the next cell, type "=", highlight the cell with your original date, type "+180" and press enter.

    • Thanks for providing this info, Yih-Han :)
