Help with Laptop No Charging

Hi. I just hoping someone could help me with me this problem I have with my laptop.
I have this lenovo T460s bought in 2017 and after 6 month the laptop stop charging and I email to lenovo support and they give me new charging cable and it work again. And now the same problem appear again. I'm not sure what wrong, is it charging cable or the battery itself.
The warranty is already expired so I don't think they would send me another free charging cable(not that I know its broken). I check the market so new cable and it cost over $50. Does anyone know where can I test/charge my laptop to know whether the cable or the battery broken before decide to buy replacement.

Note:laptop no longer has any power and it not charging.

Thank for any advice

Update: they ask me to send laptop to them for checking and said nothing wrong with the motherboad or the port. Problem is the same as before, charing cable. They provide me new cable and send it send back to me. Cheer for all advice

Ask them again. A laptop should last more than the stat 12 months.

    • Cheer for reply. The laptop is fine but the accessories (charging cable) I think it's the problem. Not too sure. Will ask them on monday

  • Is it plugged in properly?

    • Yes. It always sit in the same place and I change direction many time

Did you pay the power bill?

If they gave you a new one, you'd imagine the warranty for the replacement is extended.
Seems odd that two cables have had errors…could be a known issue.

Would be contacting them to get another one sent out and asking if this is a widespread problem

It under 2 year so I hope they follow Australian consumer law even tho they cover only 12 month. For now I don't even have any laptop to search or use.

Totally agree with Lv80, you can ask them a new cable and try to check with the same. If the problem persist, then the issue is with your laptop. You can claim the company for the replacement of your product as it can be under warranty.
