  • Will this be good for an iPhone X?

    • only apple official certified belkin and mophie's one can do 7.5w quick charging though…. others can do 5w standard charge which is slow…

      • +1

Only 33.33% slower, so it isn't too bad I guess. Especially slower might actually be better for wireless charging since it generates quite a lot of heat usually. which is quite bad for batteries.

      • +1

There's other brands that will do 7.5w nowdays. Anker, RavPower, iOttie etc.

That said make sure its listed as supported. Most 10 or 15w chargers will be 5w on an iPhone currently.

    • I have this unit.
      It does quick charge.

It’s exaclty the same as the unit Apple sells, but the version sold at Apple stores is white.

Made for: Note 5, Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S6 edge+, S6 edge, S6, and other Qi compatible devices

      It's not complicated.

  • Glad bought it last night, price went back up $99, still havn't picked it up yet though.

    • Have you picked it up yet and is it any good? how long do you reckon from flat to full? and on what phone, seeing as my local still has the $59 tag up, I might give it a crack

      • Currently 28%, lg v30 3300mah, says fast wireless charging when plugged in, estimate shows 2hrs.

But chargers usually slow down at 90% for battery longevity so maybe 1.5hrs.

        • ok great thankyou,
I might see if the tag is still up and have a go at getting one at the $59.. although the day/month on the tag has past

        • @Austaurean:

They've honored it when I bought a sale 1 day late cause the website wasn't updated and still showed old price at 9am lol.

USB charging is still better anyway, but my usb port is covered because of my ringke fusion case and peeling the flap off is annoying…

It's convenience only, not a necessity if you wanna save the $$.

  • Canberra Belconnen store still has the $59 tag up, although the date on it indicates its out dated now.
