DUNLOPILLO Luxurious Classic... Worth it?

Hi

Has anyone taken on Scott Pape's (The Barefoot Investor) recommendation and purchased the 'Dunlopillo Luxurious Classic' pillow?

If so, what are your thoughts?

  • Another pillow to consider: Mediflow waterbase. You fill it up with 4.5l of water and it fits to the shape of your neck. I haven't had any neck problems for the years I have been using it.

  • I bought one, it's really good on a firm mattress, its horrible on a soft mattress…

I have like 6 different pillows ranging from $20-$150 a pillow - my personal favorite is the $20 Big W memory foam pillow https://www.bigw.com.au/product/house-home-contour-memory-fo…

  • Don't know about this barefoot investor but is that the latex one? I've been using it for the past 8 years and it's been great. Though other people may find it a bit too flat, you have to see whether you're side or back sleeper and choose pillow accordingly. I didn't go for memory foam as it was too hot for me to sleep comfortably (no air con)

    • side sleeper, most of the time.. I haven't used latex before, does it get 'hot' ?

      • In my experience it doesn't get hot, it's just more flatter and more bouncier feel.

I'm also side sleeper so slide my arm under pillow to sleep which raises pillow to my comfort. You might have to try lots of pillows to find the right one as everyone prefers different profiles of pillow

  • I have neck problems which got much better after buying this pillow.

  • I got a a dunlopillo luxurious latex recently. Available in diff heights and firmness levels. Makes a big difference for me. I sleep better and the shoulder/neck pain disappeared. Very happy with it.
    I'm mostly a side sleeper.
