New Earphones. Opinions?

I purchased the Xiaomi Piston 3 earphones 3 years ago and they have been fantastic. Unfortunately, i accidentally damaged one of the wires connected to the ear pods and it no longer works. Now i'm thinking of purchasing the same earphones again but was wondering if there were any other earphones in the market that are better or even cheaper?

My budget is $30.

Appreciate your opinions :)

PS i have looked at the Xiaomi Piston 4 earphones and they look alright but not sure if they are better. What do you guys think?

PPS i love ozbargain and you guys are awesome, it's pretty cool discussing current events and reading life advice from other ozbargainers on interesting predicaments in these forums. Keep it up.

I've always found comfort to be a bigger issue than sound. Most half decent earphones have ok sound, but some are pretty uncomfortable. My point is, if you're happy with the Piston3's just get the same ones again.

    • fair enough thanks

I've been through countless sets of budget earphones, both wired and Bluetooth. I loved the JLabs but they were too flimsy and broke on me twice within a few months.

I've had other highly rated buds and various Chi-fi that have sounded awful.

You know, I always find myself coming back to these beauties. Sturdy, reliable and sound unbelievable for less than $15.

    Check out Audio Budget

Had this site suggested to me by a few users on here and I ended up buying the Revonext for around $50AUD but there is more affordable options on there too. Take some time if you can and have a read.
