Did Anyone Else forget to redeem their Amaysim Groupon Voucher?

I thought it was to expire at the end of the month! Didn't check and so when I decided to redeem it today, Guess what? The damn thing has already expired.
Any ideas if its worth contacting Amaysim and pleading ignorance? Has anyone else been in this situation? What do the OzBargain community recon?

    I'd give it a go. Amaysim was basically begging for non-paying customers with all of their recent deals.

    The terms and conditions on Groupon were confusing since normally you'd expect to remember only 1 expiry date rather than 2. I assume the SIM activation date was made on the 31st to allow at least 7 days for the estimated delivery time.

    I didn't forget. Groupon did send a specifict email reminder a week beforehand too to remind people to redeem it before the cut off date.

    Thought the date was 28th but turns out it was the 24th. I just entered it and it worked though…
