Swing by the ASICS store! Friendly knowledgeable staff, treadmill with gait analysis (to make sure you are buying a shoe that supports you properly) and, at the moment, sweet deals!

I picked up a pair of Black DS Trainers for a flat $100! Half price:D
There were also Kayano 24s for $130
I think that anything that in getting a new model OR just isn't a new season colour/style (ie not a new model, just colours) is 50% off and the rest is 30% off.

Limited sizes so I'd advise calling ahead/ really zooming in close on the tags in my pics

Also all their apparel and bags are on sale for 50% off - I grabbed a couple running tees and a long sleeve top for cooler nights for $60 total. Not much left in medium but other sizes seemed to have plenty.

Word to the wise - avoid 12:30 - 13:30 - I was in there just before this today and was fine but by the time I left it was getting real busy.

They are shutting down for a refurb in a couple weeks but the girl helping me said they would be running the sale until the close/ run out of stock

  If you are buying brand new shoes for city 2 surf, do a couple of runs to get comfortable in them first and make sure they're right for you. You may be better off getting nikes from nike.com - worst case scenario, the returns policy is very generous.

  Not a bad deal for anyone that can walk into the shop. I had to buy a new pair of shoes the other day at full retail (GT-2000 6) because the soles fell off my old Arata's.I don't have a lot of choices locally Rebel sport or Sports first.

  Maybe i shouldn't wait so long to buy a new pair next time
