    If you like the style, I find discounted Hush Puppies excellent value for money if they are not your daily beaters.

    There is really no point buying goodyear welt $500 shoes if you are going to use them only 10 or 20 times a year.

    If you need shoes for everyday wear, you will be going through 1-2 pairs of Hush Puppies each year. In that case it's better to invest into $500 shoes which will last you 10 years and can be resoled.

    Quality is not the best anymore. Better to buy quality for things like shoes because you actually feel it.

    I have two pairs of Hush Puppies which I find to be very comfortable shoes but both pairs have had the surface of the leather start to peel within a few weeks of purchasing.

  Hush puppies used to be good quality but made you look old when wearing them.
  Now they are under brand management quality has gone down but now they have some 'trendy' looking shoes too.

  I still miss my old hush puppy shoes purchased a few years ago which was $49 (59-10). I had 2 pairs after that, and those 2 pairs stopped me from purchasing any more from this brand.

  I turned to rockport for a while since there was a discount warehouse in Marricville area, and it was so cheap there. But sadly the warehouse is kind of closed down now. Sales only happen once or twice a year.

  there aren't many sizez left on the shoes that are on sale.
