2m HDMI Cable $2.50 (5+ $2.00), 3m HDMI Cable $3.00 (5+ $2.50) + Delivery or Free Pick Up (in NSW) @ Space Hi-Fi

170

This offer is designed for those looking for multiple cables, or for those that can collect in store. This is NOT going to be the cheapest offering if only a single cable is ordered with delivery.

Unfortunately we haven't offered standard mail (large letter) shipping rates through our website for quite a few years now due to the requirement of tracked shipping to cover a larger product range. Delivery starts at $6.95 (tracking with signature).

As an example, for 4 x 2m HDMI cables the price works out to $4.24 each delivered. The more you can order at once, the less the individual cost becomes. Of course, if you can pick up in store then shipping is not applicable.

Notes for pick up: Please ensure you order from our website in advance (a pick up option is available during checkout) and print off your order confirmation email. When you collect your order, please hand over the printed copy of your order confirmation email. The will assist us in handling these orders efficiently.

Pick up address is: Unit 3/115-117 Orchard Road, Chester Hill NSW 2162

Directions to our store and trading hours: https://www.spacehifi.com.au/store-location

These HDMI cables support all current HDMI v2.0 features, including 4K 60Hz and HDR etc.

Also, if anybody is looking for component video cables, we have clearance pricing across the entire line: https://www.spacehifi.com.au/cables-and-connectors/component…

I have a few of your long HDMI cables. For general use, they have done well.

  • Hi, are they support 2k 144hz?

    • Yes, 1920x1080 (2K) @ 144Hz has been supported since HDMI v1.3. These cables will support this.

      • 1920x1080 isn't 2k.

        • As far as I am aware, the term 2K is not locked to a specific resolution but instead refers to a category of resolutions that comprise of approximately 2,000 horizontal pixels.

I was not entirely clear on the resolution that getit was referring to. However, if this was in reference to the DCI standard, then this would refer to 2048x1080, for which 1920x1080 is the closest consumer standard.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2K_resolution

          https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/691408-2k-does-not-mean…

Getit has since clarified (see the post below this) that the resolution he required support for was 2560x1440 (2.5K?) @ 144Hz and this has been confirmed to be supported under the HDMI 2.0 standard.

  • sorry, what I mean is 2560 x 1440 144hz

    • Yes, that falls under the HDMI 2.0 spectrum and is supported.

great, I will buy 5 x 3m with delivery, thanks

  • Can i just go to store and buy it at the online advertised price?

    • +1

Sorry but we would prefer orders placed online in advance. This will allow us to process the order efficiently and ensure stock is available.

There is an option for pick up during checkout.

    • You can order online for store pick up. Doesn't add any extra cost.

  • Any HDMI 2.1 cables?

    • Cables should not actually be labelled as having a version number, which is why you will find that we refer to cables as supporting version features instead.

Unlike hardware, cables are passive interconnects that simply transmit data. It is the quality of the construction that determines maximum bandwidth. While these are entry level cables, they have been tested up to 18 Gbps.

In regards to 2.1 support, initially most existing HDMI cables should be fine as early implementations of the updated standard are likely only to require a portion of the allocated 48 Gbps bandwidth. However, when we do reach a point where 48 Gbps is required, we will likely need to move onto active cabling solutions or a new connection standard. Only time will tell.

      • Need a good place to get some 4k 120hz cables basically for future usage on a TV.. Monitors are too expensive atm unless I win the lotto haha lol. Basically asking for cheapest 2.1 cable for future proofing and also to reduce amount of cables.

  • I wish you had free delivery :)

    • I am sorry this is not available.

Unfortunately shipping is never actually free, and most retailers that offer this will need to allow some margin to cover the shipping cost. Our aim is to offer the very best price on the product itself.

Just to clarify, we are not making anything from this offer. This is excess stock that we intended to sell through eBay but have since moved our focus elsewhere.

Thks grabbed 5 of the 2m and 8 of the 3M, make the most of the postage and friends will want some, and I can rid of some of mine that pixel at 2K.

  • Ok, we're going to wrap this up. We have still left the 2m at $3.00 and 3m at $3.50 for the time being as we are looking to clear remaining stock.

Also, there are a few orders that remain uncollected.

If you find that you may not be able to make it in to see us and would like to arrange shipping, please feel free to contact us.
