Looking for a new SIM only plan for myself and a family member. So ideally looking for a plan with data sharing.
Anyone have any experience with data sharing? Or have any tips to get the cheapest rate.
Also can students get discounts with phone plans that also have data sharing?

At home, a 4G->Wifi modem will allow many users to share. No good?
With one sim data sharing is local only anyway.
Check around with Kogan, Aldi, Tpg etc. There's many to choose from.
What usage do you need?

Telstra had $49/month for 25GB Single Use, with $200 JB Voucher (for new port ins) making it effectively $33 month on Telstra. But now with the new plans, it begs to ask if there is a similar plan like that, JB Hasn't advertised yet.
OP get on Belong, your low usage family member can be on $10 a month for 1GB and you can be on either $25 for 5 or $40 for 15. Go down to $10 for 1 if you end up with excess data in the bank. Any data your family member doesn't use they can gift to you.
