How to Buy Coles eGift Card with a Credit Card (Not Bank Transfer)?

Noticed that from AGL and RACQ you can buy Coles eGift Card, but you have to do a bank transfer.

I'd like to buy with a credit card as it has long interest-free period. Is it possible?

You can use credit card on the RACQ portal

    • Used to be. But now at checkout I don't see the option. Seems have to transfer money to the RACQ Wallet first?

I have seen a few times lately the credit card option is offline for a bit but then comes back on

I have bought gift caed this afternoon and it is still working

  • Thanks @loulou1

Yes it is coming back for me as well!

I swear there wasn't a credit card option last week when I tried to buy.

Could this have something to do with a limit from RACQ on credit card transaction amount?

There was an issue with RACQ and their backend for a while so they turned off all payment methods except for bank transfer, it's fixed now :)

Suncorp rewards, and no extra fee for using the credit card

  • Agreed, Suncorp Rewards is best.

    • But can only use VISA/Mastercard. Anyone know where I can use AMEX for no fee.

I don't think anywhere has AMEX with no fee for Coles cards, Flare has AMEX with 1% which is the best I can find, Woolworths e-Gifts are 0% fee for any payment source which works out fairly well to convert to most cards in store.

        • Yes thanks I could not find a way also.

  • The Good Guys Concierge reward sell physical Coles gift cards it can be done by a credit card.

    • Cannot find out as I am not a member but may consider. Which credit card can you use?

Any. No restriction. You also use paypal.

        • Thanks. Is there a way to join without making a purchase?

  • RACQ and Suncorp no longer offer Coles eGift Cards.

  • Good Guys Concierge Rewards program has also been closed down
