How to Send Cake to Family/Friend in USA from Australia?

My cousin will be celebrating her 4th marriage anniversary and my family wants to send her a cake for this occassion. Is there any service that takes orders from Australian (or via VPN lol) but based in USA and deliver on the day? Cake along with other gifts would be nice but prefer the one that ensures quickest or on the day delivery. Cheers.

quicksearch led to me to "giftbasketoverseas" website, is it legit? does anybody here have experience with them?

In all honesty I would get them to purchase their own cake and send them a US currency VISA? card to cover the cost. That way they can get the cake they want and you don't incur the extra charges of getting the cake delivered. Online cake ordering places are usually very expensive compared to walk into a bakery/patissiere place.

Setup "facetime" with the family when they cut the cake so you can feel like you are there.

    • i mean that's not a bad suggestion but I want it to be a surprise and dont want them to deal with the money. I have seen my relatives do that previously, like in this case, the exact same cousin sent money to her brother to buy cakes and treat their parents for their birthday or anniversary and they did videochat.

Google a bakery in their town that does phone orders and call them?

      exactly
      pay them to deliver it.
or pay a courier to collect and deliver

    • thank you, that's a great idea.

As a kid any dinner I couldn't eat I would post it to starving kids in Africa so I'm sure it could be done

      headphones???

    • Why on earth would you do that?
Coke is much cheaper in the US. You can get 3.5 bottles over there for the price of 1 over here!

Really ? That’s all you could find ? One of the worst websites I’ve ever seen in my life…

Did you try googling a cake shop in their town and ordering that way?

    • like i said quicksearch lol, i didnt spent more than 2 minutes as I was going out.

I would look up cake shops in their town and call them using Skype. It’ll only cost $1 at the most.

Otherwise a us App Store Account could help as there’s a heap more delivery apps over there.

And how long did it take you to create this post? LOL

  • Just send whatever left over cakes to them via Aust Post Express. G'luck.

    • Posties love cake. They carefully open the parcel and replace it would mouldy slush.

I once had a room mate. Her boyfriend lived overseas and sent her cupcakes via ubereats.
