  • So you need to put your own bike onto this trainer for it to work?

    • yup

    • +1

this is for people who want to train on their bicycles. if you want something to lose weight on you can buy an exercise bike or elliptical trainer for not much more.

    • I find that it's more comfortable than an exercise bike, everything is already adjusted properly on my bike, and a cheap exercise bike doesn't always have all those adjustments option. Good for exercising at home while watching the news/sports or shows with subtitles.

      • but those cheap little exercise bikes would take up much less room too!

i see where this product would be good…. especially for those who want to train on their own bike, but for fatties like me- i just want a compact little bike to fold away when not in use.

        • i find an elliptical trainer to be much better than an exercise bike as it burns more calories + exercises your upper body.

        • Only less space if you don't already have a regular bike. Reg bike + this = less space than reg bike + exercise bike ;-)

  • Does anyone know if it suits bicycles with quick release wheels?

    • Should work I think. They have two pistons kind of thing clamping on either sides of the axle for the rear wheel. I don't have the aldi trainer but mine is similar and it came with an axle with metal caps on either side to help with the clamping. You just need to swap that with the one on your bike when putting it on the trainer.

  • Yeah i'd like to know if this works on road bikes.

    • +1

      Up to 700cc

  • I got the gloves last time… ok as a back up pair. Might grab a spare bib at that price.

  • Very tempting for $59. I wonder how it would compare with this: http://goo.gl/1Ix39
