Google is giving away free download copy of their new "The Site Reliability Workbook" until 23rd of August.
Also available "Site Reliability Engineering" for free online.

If you want to build and maintain Google scale websites this book is for you. For all budding Site Reliability Engineers.

    You were thinking of the SRE book, which is basically an introduction to SRE. This one's just been released, and it's much more practical.

      Go to the link. There's one book that seems to be free and the other with a time limitation on how long it's free for. Not bad but a bit short on technical details/logs.

  Thanks OP I have been waiting for this one.

  The SRE book is about the principles of SRE, SRE 101 if you like. This is the SRE workbook which is to help organisations implement SRE. God knows a lot of us need it !
