  • Rottnest Express did cheap tuesdays but can't seem to find on their website now. Best call them to see if the deal is still active. It was around 50% off compared to normal fare.

    • Cheers. I'll try that.

      • It's called Telethon Tuesdays. Here's a link to the deal on the Telethon website, but the "book now" button results in a broken link on the Rottnest Express page so perhaps they no longer run this offer.

Thanks to Rottnest Express & The Rottnest Island Authority you can discover Rottnest Island with "Telethon Tuesdays". For every person who travels to Rottnest Island on any Tuesday, $1 will be donated to Telethon.

        • Thanks! I'll give them a call tomorrow.

        • It was in this morning's Google's News that the online booking link is broken and they are losing big tourist numbers as a result of only being able to accept phone bookings. The media is spinning it as "After spending so much on Roger Federer cuddling a Quokka for its Campaign how can they justify not having an working online booking site?"…. Hope that helps.

        • @Neenie Beamer: they said the promo ended 😭

    • Other than swimming

Taking the fun out of things ;(

    • I've done the Rotto swim a few times and it ain't a cheap way to get there.

  • There's 15% off vouchers for Rottnest Express and Sealink here (there are Ts&Cs which I haven't looked at) https://www.helloperth.com.au/exclusive-discounts/

There are vouchers in the Entertainment book

RAC WA offer savings by purchasing ferry vouchers at 38% discount https://rac.com.au/membership-benefits/discounts-and-special…

  • If you wait for another 5 billion or so years when the sun's supply of hydrogen runs out and begins to turn into a red giant, you'll be able to walk to Rottnest for free as all the oceans will have evaporated.

  • Inflatable raft?

  • Stowaway on the Rottnest Express?

    • I wish

  • Stay for a week it feels cheaper

  • +1

We recently went over for the day, paid full price. They sent us an email afterwards including "As a thank you, we would like to provide you with a discount code which will give you a 20% discount for all SeaLink Ferries and 10% off any Captain Cook Cruises Product. Please use code: REPEAT when booking in the future."
I obviously haven't tried it, but good luck, I hope it works for you.
