Looking to buy a Google Smart Display.
I have worked out there are 4 different ones, but don't know which one to get.
JBL - LinkView
Lenovo - Smart Display
LG - ?
Sony - ?
Any ideas for a non-savvy PC person on which to choose? It's a gift for a PC savvy person… Ugh
Also, anyone seen any around the place to purchase?

How PC savvy is the giftee? Because if they really know their tech, I would shy away from tech stuff that involves a lot of personal preferences and isn't customizable to fit those preferences.
Of the ones you listed, the Lenovo one seems the most… inoffensive. But yeah - any actually tech savvy person already has a Google Home and their TV or another monitor connected via Chromecast (or otherwise).
The Lenovo is the one to choose. I'm a tech savvy person and would love one of these so feel free to ignore previous feedback.
Your main issue is I don't think they're released outside usa at minute.
I'm surprised a tech savvy person would want one of these devices. The only people I know that have bought these are techno-illiterate boomers
