Up until recently, anything under ~$300 for a 1TB SSD was a deal. The recent pricedrop means that they need to be under $250 for people to be interested in them. Lets hope they keep dropping
I bought a crucial 1TB SSD MX500 for $232 delivered in one of the recent sales
Wait for the next ebay 20% code and grab an mx500 1tb for <$250

It's a 2.5" SATAIII so yeah, not top of the line. But it's cheaper than comparable 1TB SSDs so there's that.
