Anyway to Get Fox Sports by Itself on Foxtel?

Hi,
I was wondering if there's a way to just get Fox Sports on foxtel. Unfortunately I also have to get a starter pack which will cost me extra $15. I'm only in it for the sports and I know I won't watch the other crap.

Anybody have any ideas? or is there any deals around, I only want fox sports until september 12.

    • How? I've already done a free trial about 3 months ago.

      • New email new credit card

        • ah damn… Don't have more than 1 credit card.

  • If bloody only!

    Local pub

  • It wouldn't be worth it. You want it for one month and you would need to sign up to a contract (minimum 1 year?) + installation fee.

Go to the pub like others have suggested.

What did you want to watch?

    • The England v India cricket test series… goes till september 11. :(

      • Do you know anyone in the UK that has Sky Sports and a NOW subscription?

        • I was wondering, Would I be geo-restricted for watching Sky NOW?
I use to have a Sky Sports now subscription before I left England. Could I re-open that account and watch it from Australia?

        • @Smogul: You would but with a VPN should be possible. I use BBC etc with a VPN.

        • @Smogul: I should clarify I use getflix.com.au , it's the only one that seems to be foolproof to bypass geo block.

        Plenty of streams out there.

    • There are no contracts on Foxtel Now, there is no installation fee. You just open the app on any smartphone/tablet/XBOX/PS4/computer/supported smart TV and watch. Or optionally grab a Now box from JB, Harvey's etc, plug it in to your internet/TV and start watching. This isn't the old 'cable' Foxtel (which no longer works in most places due to NBN which took over the cables and disconnected Foxtel).

      • Hmm I'm a bit curious. How are you suppose to watch foxtel channels as a subscribed user, when you're not subscribed to foxtel.

This device seems to be like a Chrome cast that can play apps, free to air TV etc. Surely you can't just pay $99 for the device and can watch sports channels without even being a member.

        • Just google Foxtel Now, goddamn.

        • @Benjuuuuu:

I did. Where do you think I got the information from above?

Op wants fox sports for one month and this device only gives free to air channels and apps.

        • @GangGang: If you buy it alone, sure. If you but it with a Foxtel Now subscription, you can use it on that. But it's not essential. Foxtel Now plays on most any device. This info is readily available through simple research. Unless you're a toddler, you shouldn't need to be spoon fed.

        • @Benjuuuuu:

Then i suggest you tell that to OP he is a toddler. It's his post not mine. We are all here trying to help him.

  • Friend/relatives with sport package + their Foxtel Go login.

    • I only moved here in February, from England. Don't really have any relatives. Friends don't use Foxtel.

      Tough life :(

  • Same price but a little more for your money, NewsCorp has run (still running?) A promotion where you get digital access to the paper of your choice and Foxtel Go Lifestyle and Sport Package for $40pm.

    • "more"

  • try the new KANO sport app.
