You can also get these Casio digitals on eBay for a bit less. The description says -

Watch has small dust pieces inside the glass

But the feedback is virtually all positive with no complaints about this.

    Casio F91W US$6.95 (~AU$9.43 shipped)
    Casio F94 US$6.95 (~AU$9.43 shipped)

Also just be aware that these are small watches and they don't have electro-luminescent backlight, it's the old school led light from one side.
The larger Skmei 1134 has the electro-luminescent backlight, as do most of their digital watches.

    • Those are likely fake. I doubt Casio would let something with obvious QC issues be sold.

F-91W counterfeits are pretty rife too. Three of the ones I've bought from eBay have ended up being fake.

This store has been selling these for a long time now and I have read many pages of feedback.

Can you please link to the seller you bought yours from to warn others of the fake seller, thank you.

F-91W counterfeits are pretty good these days—they've even copied the feature to display "CASIo" when holding the lower-right AM/PM toggle button (which was previously used to identify counterfeits). There is however a pretty marked difference in the quality of the resin band when closely compared to the genuine, and when opening it up to do any modifications.

I doubt the majority of eBay buyers would bother to check if it were real, and if they did they'd find the (now useless) information online instructing them to hold to AM/PM button and take it as gospel.

        • Three of the ones I've bought from eBay have ended up being fake.

Can you please link to the 3 fake eBay sellers to warn others, thank you.

It would be great for once on here when someone accuses another member of posting a fake watch they could actually provide some evidence.
I am still waiting for that day.

        • @WatchNerd: I'm still waiting for this one.

why would you want people to buy fake watches? surely the fact the listing says "contains dust pieces under glass" would raise an alarm. these guys even mention your seller here and here if you are still unsure.

        • Where did I say I wanted people to buy fake watches? I have been keeping an eye on this seller for over a year and the positive feedback keeps coming in with over 5000 of those 2 models sold, so I can only go off what I have read.

Even the Op in your link says it feels genuine in his initial review, but considering the rest of the thread suggest that they are most likely fake then I won't link to it again. Thanks for looking into it and finding some evidence.

@WatchNerd: They may be seconds rather than fakes.

I'm a SKMEI convert. Must be a super good deal then I might pull the trigger on another Casio.
