Hey guys - I will be travelling to Auckland on Sunday afternoon returning Wednesday evening. It's a short trip for work so will be busy in the morning but free after 6pm.
I will be staying in the city and was wondering if there is anything that I can see or do in these 3 nights.

Piha black sand beach, karekare falls (5 mins from Piha), Mt Eden sunrise or sunset, Ponsenby central, davenport.
Mt Eden way better than sky tower imho, free and good exercise. After Mt Eden, we decided not to go up skytower even though we stayed opposite. The best part of auckland is the inner suburbs, so leafy and beautiful. Highly recommend staying in air bnb in ponsenby. Much nicer than CBD.
The viaduct has some nice bars and restaurants, I highly recommend the restaurant Euro. There are many cheap Asian places as well.
There are many boat trips available, Waiheke island makes a great day trip.
The sky tower is worth a visit, especially at sunset.
