Games missing from Australian Nintendo eShop Switch

Hello ozbargain gamers,

I've been trying to figure out what's going on with the Australian eshop for Nintendo Switch.

Certain titles appear and then mysteriously disappear from the eshop on switch, even recently released titles. For example, when I search for Little Nightmares and Attack on Titan, these games just don't show up in the search. Even manually looking through the list of all games returns no results.

Looking on the USA eshop brings these games up though? I have no idea if there are secret agreements with retailers selling physical editions for timed exclusivity? Maybe it's just me? Anyone else find games disappear in the Australian eshop on Switch? I don't buy everything Digitally but this is just weird.

    It's due to licensing for Attack On Titan, try searching A.O.T 2 instead, not to sure about Little Nightmares though, that's bizarre as it should be there.

    I noticed little nightmares too, i cant find any info online about its disappearance either

      As far as I can tell, Little Nightmares is only available digitally on switch in the USA but is available physically here and Europe. They may have removed the digital edition to try and force more physical sales. Those memory cards are expensive and they may be trying to recoup cost as it's not a break out hit seller of a game. If my suspicions are correct, this is pretty lame and doing so with out announcing such a move sucks for those with digital only collections.

        Doesn't quite make sense, unless they make considerably more money selling a physical copy rather than digital. Selling it by either medium would be able to recuperate the cost.
