Which Motorola G Should I Buy?

Hey everyone,

I got myself a Motorola G5+ last year, from eGlobal on eBay, & I love it. My partner needs a new phone, & I was going to get him one just like mine, however I've noticed the newer Moto models that are out which are similarly specced & around the same price point, so I thought I'd ask everyone's opinion on which one to get that represents the best value. Links to any good deals you've spotted on any of them recently would be gratefully appreciated too (must have B28).

    That's what I was thinking. The G5+ has held its value suprisingly well, & is actually more expensive than the newer G5S & G5S+… But that just makes me wonder why. LOL Perhaps that means it's better? Hence the confusion.

  Just be careful as some dual SIM motos are useless in Australia. Not sure if that applies to the models listed but do your research if that feature is important to you.

  I got the G5 (not +) for $220 just over a year ago and its been fantastic. I want NFC on my next phone and my daughter is waiting on my G5, however I agree with OP that there are no standout deals on subsequent models.
  I can't bear changing brands, simply because of "chop chop" for torch and "twist twist" for camera, they are SO useful.

    Yeah, they're handy functions. I think you can get apps that enable similar on any Android, but you may need root access. The G5S+ I ended up buying has NFC, apparently.

  Grab this deal, X4 has similar specs to the G6 Plus but this deal makes it within your price range and it's a better phone than those poll options.
