Coles Mobile Prepaid $180 42GB Activation Issue

I tried to activate the $180 coles pre-paid sim through online and it failed. I then spoke to customer support to activate, but was told that the extra 6 GB promotion finished yesterday.

According to their website it says until 7/8/2018 and I thought it means it ends today.

Did I talk to the wrong support person or do you think my assumption is wrong?

    • Yeah, I did read that and coles Ad sounded like an inclusive one to me.

      • Out-of-office date and growling bears are a weird comparison, so here's a more appropriate one.
        Coles catalogues start on a Wednesday and end on a Tuesday, inclusive.
        This offer started on 7 February (Wednesday) and ends 7 August (Tuesday). It would seem odd if this wasn't inclusive.

        Also note in the Terms and Conditions:

        Bonus data may take up to 72 hours to be applied

        • Strange logic. Coles catalogue is for 1 week and is valid for full 7 days. That is why Tuesday is inclusive. This offer was for 6 months. So, if started on 7th, it will naturally end on 6th night of 6th month.

  • Call them again, you will probably get it included.
