Stock vs GCam - great diff

What is diff Stock vs Gcam other than pic quality?
Any redmi esp note 5 users can help with detailed process of how to install this Stock?

ive got a custom rom (Axon 7), and it kinda had issues with stock camera.

Open camera and Bacon Camera are also recommended, and i find that they have different results and functions. Having 2 camera apps allows me to have separate camera presets, so one will do HQ and the other a standard quality shot. I dont muck around with HDR. tinkering pays off

Picture quality is the advantage..
GCam can add extra features (or remove them) depending on the feature set of the stock app.

    Stock is the generic name we use to refer to the camera app that comes pre-installed with your device.
