HIPages plumber recommendation

Hi All,

So I bought a toilet (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/389541#comment-6244630) from bunnings with installation on 21 july.
Everything is good, went to hipages.com.au to register the installation and then got a sms from a plumber to do the installation.
The plumber is trying to push me to do the installation during weekdays. I told him, im not in a rush and i prefer to do it on weekend (saturday)
He also asked me if he need to to take old toilet away etc.
Anyway, i just got a text from him today, he said he cant make it for tmrw.
Im just wondering since i got this plumber from hipages.com.au can i choose my plumber since i get the vibe from the current one that he is not professional?
Can i switch to another plumber? and how do i do that?

    the plumber replied he's not available and want to reschedule on wednesday

    im just wondering at this stage, am i being stuck with this one particular plumber? or do i have option to choose another plumber? and if i can choose another plumber how do i do this?

    Have you paid anything? If not you can change. But you will find that most do not want to work weekends as they reserve weekends for things like quoting jobs, admin and catching up on paperwork etc. So I wouldnt call him un professional, he did say upfront he doesnt want to work weekends - from your post.

    Just say, forget about it mate. Jobs off.

    Ever heard of yellow pages? Ring around and see if you can find a plumber who can do it on the weekend.
    There are plenty of other sites like HiPages. Use one of them and specify you need the job done on a Saturday.

    Ofcourse, If he is not professional and He is not serious about his job, you should forget him. I don't know in what area you are. I know one good plumber in northern beaches. They have team of local and experience plumber. They are in the industry since last 20 years. My experience with them is pretty good.
