If you enjoy punishing games then I suggest Darkest Dungeon. It's really great but difficult as hell.

Fantastic game by the way. So much value for money.

    • Do I need the DLC? Or try the base game first and then grab the others later if needed?

      • +1

Base game is extensive anyway, buy the DLC later if you wish.

        • Yeah cool, cheers

  • Immediately scrolls down to S

Splasher (Plug In Digital) $13.20, was $22.00
Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection (Capcom) $59.16, was $79.95

Dammit, not Stardew Valley again! Missed out on the sale before as I didnt have a Switch

Regardless of that, a true ozb would wait for sale

        • +1

A true OzBargainer would switch to Mexican eShop and buy it at 11AUD via PayPal. (That’s what I did.

        • +1

@sh4wnc: How did you get a Mexican PayPal? I've tried and can't put any money into it.

    • +1

Want SF30th, but maybe only if it gets down to $40-50, $60 is still too much

    • whats the cheapest it's been?

    • When was it ever on sale?
I’ve been waiting since release :O

      • I swear I remember it on sale once around May/June? Low tens? Maybe I mistakenly remember it being on sale on another console…

    3ds games are expensive af.

  • Goodness, expensive. You really need the 15% off eshop giftcards to justify these.

Even then, only buy games that you'll play irregularly and don't want to swap carts for. Because resale value of cartridges is just SO good, for any of the AAA one-play-through games, it ends up costing around $10-15 to play a game after onselling on ebay during free final value fee promotions. That's if you buy new. It's almost free if you buy it second hand to start with.

I'll probably pick up Crypt of the NecroDancer: Nintendo Switch Edition (Brace Yourself) $12.00, was $30.00

Yeah I agree. After buying the switch during the Amazon prime sale I was stunned at the price of games. Bought Mario Odyssey for $53 and took 2 weeks to beat it, then sold it for $65 haha. Also managed to get Zelda for $40 off gumtree so can probably make a profit there as well. Though yeah strategy is definitely buying a game at a time then selling without a loss.

  • Part of me: Thank (profanity) there isn't too much that decent, my wallet can only take so much.

Other part of me: But I am at like 289 on the eShop and the limit is 300 and I still have 60 odd bucks from the Fortnite deal I can't put on my account because I have so much, I need to buy shit and I need to do it now.

Edit: Went on the shop anyway, bought Serial Cleaner for 9 and Raging Justice for 10 and change, much more things on sale than mentioned on that site.

    • The limit's $300?! Dammit, I've had these cards sitting around waiting to get lost and I could've added them to the account already.
Thank you for this info. :-)

      • What did you think the limit was, dude?

I knew Sony had a 200 limit, I assume Xbox has a limit too, but realistically, if I didn't already know about the PSN limit, I would assume there'd be no limit on any of them. Like, it must be something legal, otherwise why would you want to stop people shoveling their money into your ecosystem?

        • I actually thought it was $200. Maybe it's US$200…
Anyway, off to load more cards in. ;-)

  • no golf story, steamworld heist, or overcooked 1….

    cmon nintendo :(

Bought Owlboy, seems pretty good so far but controls might take me a bit to get used to. Super Bomberman R still ridiculously overpriced.
