Also worth mentioning that the PS63C7000 is only $2299

  • Oh i knew this day would come sooner rather then later lol, payed $2100 for this at the end of october.

    • +2

This comment does not stop this from being a great deal… why the negative??

      • -7

Because it's still a 'big ticket' item…and if it fails, your left with a $1800 hunk of plastic and glass…a bargain is only a bargain (if it's expensive) until it fails…then it's the worst deal you could get.

        • Agreed, still a good deal though. Just take out extended cover pray to God your samsung doesn't die in the first year.

I bought this tv for 2479 in sept with 4 years warranty. It has been doing random things lately but still going strong

    • +2

TBH I dun see the need to neg this deal when it is Samsung that did you wrong.

Unless you are negging against the op or Bing Lee which again I not see a need for it

      • If bendertiger believes that Samsung's warranty policies are substandard, that would in my opinion justify a neg, because purchasers of this deal may be adversely affected by those same policies.

Personally, I have not had any trouble with Samsung.

        • +1

bendertiger needs to be more specific with what he is going on about when he is crying about Samsung Warranty…

    • -1

As others have said, just because of your bad experience with Samsung, that doesn't mean that the deal is quite good. Personally, i don't like plasmas period, however that doesn't mean i should neg this because of my own personal experience or my own personal taste. Neg from me for you.

      • -5

Neg from me for you too! Why not neg it from my own personal experience? I'd rather save alot of other people of going through the same thing I've been through…

        • +1

You keep going on about your warrant issue with Samsung, but you still have not given us more details.

    • -2

Details…I won a TV in a competition. I filed a warranty claim that complies with Samsung's conditions. Their TV (well, the one I bought) has a 12 month warranty…I filed the warranty claim 10 months from manufacture. I've filed a claim TWICE in that 12 month period, they have failed to email me, they have failed to call me to verify the warranty claim. I'd say that's pretty poor service!

      • you call them.

        • x2…

Its like any other company… Nothing ever runs smoothly in life.

I work for a company that has over 5000 Lenovo PCs & Laptops. Their PCs & Laptops are great, but the service suck. When we log a case for a warranty repair, they are supposed to contact us back with an ETA. This doesn't always happen, so we end up calling them for a status update.

Same thing applies for you (Bendertiger). You need to call them…

        • If it we're only so simple. Plz check my previous anti samsung posts.

  • Just tried it.

    The code is invalid.

Sorry mediam0de. Try it again now…
Will work on some other samsung models too

    • Thanks for the quick response… however your ad has now changed?

Instead of $2100, it has now gone down to $1799 and unfortunately the code is still not working :)

Sorry again. Some caching issues. Try it one more time. Thanks for your patience.

      • +1

Let us know if you have any further trouble.

        • Hehehe thanks again for attempting to sort this out

Just to clarify, is it supposed to be $1799 before or after adding the code? Because adding the code works this time but the price remained at $1799

Or is the samsungship code purely just for free delivery within Sydney?

      • +1

This coupon simply gives you the free shipping component in Sydney. Call our team if you live outside of Sydney and they should be able to help you out. 1300 980 399.

Thanks for the fast response :) much appreciated

My work mate is looking at it at the moment and he thought that the coupon entitles a further discount. Looks like he is going to drive up to the Fyshwick store in canberra for a weekend getaway so he'll get it there.

  • T double U … you did well … if it makes you feel better I paid $6,000 for a 55" Samsung LCD, no 3D, 2 years ago (before I became a bargain hunter)! In fact maybe thats why I am now a bargain hunter!

We have 2 Samsungs … and are very happy with 'em.

    • Yer not complaining at all as i still crack a smile everytime i walk into the room :)

  • +1

i bought the Samsung PS58C7000 6 months ago for $2500. Early adopters feel the pain. It's an ok tv, wish i had gone with a sony now.

    • +1

      Why?

    • +3

I'd also be interested to know. I've yet to see an LCD or LED I'd take over a Panasonic or Samsung 1080p plasma… LED/LCD inferior for more $$.

    • -1

pfft, I payed $2180 1 month ago….. but that was during the promo so not hurting much
damn it binglee why couldn't you have given me this price when I bought it :( oh well epic price, soooo worth it loving it, only weird thing is the buzzing noise it makes….. only happens sometimes but hardly noticeable when tv i on and your watching from a distance

cant wait to wall mount this baby using the samsung picture frame wallmount

      • Buzzing is an issue with these tv s. Check whirlpool for details. You may want to seek a replacement

  • damn…2 weeks ago i saw the 50" version of these at JB HI FI for $1800.
    awesome price!!

  • I got pricematched on the PS50C7000 ($1698) at Good Guys in Nov last year after a bit of haggling, and I thought that was a terrific price! We're very happy with the tv, have had a slight syncing issue with two of the "SSG-2100AB" 3D glasses that came with the bonus pack (turns out it was a known problem - the other glasses and the 3D overall is awesome!).

The thing that really made our purchase decision easy was qualifying for the "How to Train Your Dragon" Christmas Bonus pack (22" LED TV + Four 3D Glasses + Four 3D Movies). Are they still offering any sort of bonus?

    • I got this for $1529 at JB in Dec with the same promo. I have not checked my extra glasses that arrived a few weeks ago so I will check that now. Thanks for the heads up. As for this range of TV, I think they are great. Awesome picture quality… I bought it for the 2D quality, 3D is ok as a bonus/gimmick.. pretty cool playing GT5 or Pacific Rift in 3D on the PS3!.

There is no way you should be paying $1800 for the 50".. there have been deals posted on here (inlcuding mine) for just of $1500. I thought about the 58" but it would have been too big for my sized room.

      • sarakoth, long story short the syncing problem only seems to exist on a certain batch of battery operated Samsung SSG-2100AB/XS glasses. If you have battery (not USB!) glasses check the serial numbers - the problem seems to apply to the batch with GZA serial numbers. I'm going through Samsumg support to try to have mine replaced, otherwise the fix involves a small piece of electrical tape to cover most of the glasses' IR receiver. Hope it's appropriate to post all of that, and that it helps.

        • It's appropriate for me… that's all that counts! :) Thanks!

    • +3

I got this for 1499 with my ferrari.

  • BingLee, can you do any deals on 3D glasses if I want to buy extra pairs?

    • We sure can. Call us on 1300 980 399 to discuss a package deal.

      • I called. The girl said its $99each for extra glasses :/

        • I have one pair + 3D monsters & aliens bluray still sealed. Yours for $120 + postage. Pm if interested.

    • -1

Why did you link to the 50"?? This is the 58".

    • errrrrr…. because the reviews are the same for TV's of the same model whichever size they are? Thought you are an electrical sales rep.

      Thanks for the neg.

  • +1

Early stock clear out? Samsung has announced their 2011 'D' line-up, and judging on past experiece, should be tricklying into Australia around April-May.

  • +2

Ive placed an order for the 63incher with 4yrs extra warranty… :)

  • +1

Guys, we only have 4 of the 58" left. Please be quick if you are after one!

Also the coupon code will also give free shipping to the 63" now.

EDIT: Make that 3 58" left!!

  • got one thanks :)

  • Nice work FMA007 and Blitz! Enjoy your TVs. :)

  • Amazing deal guys. I bought this 58 for 2300 just a few months before Xmas. Worst time to buy a TV ever. I did however get a bonus 3D BluRay player and 3x Glasses.

    • Yeah that's the thing. a $250 bluray player, and 3 glasses each at $100… That's $550 extra value, meaning you got the tv for the same price…

  • Bing lee , any more 58 inch available?

  • So this deal ends on Sunday?

  • Binglee,

Do you deliver to Perth?. If so, what are the charges?. Interested in the 63"
