Large Fridge for under $1500?

My current 22 year old fridge broke and now I'm stuck buying a new one for the family. I looked at bing lee etc but they seem to be pricey, is there anywhere online to get a fridge cheap? I'm close to Sydney so could get it delivered from there potentially. It has to be under 1690cm which is annoying becase the cabinet above it is a hassle to move. Cheers

1695cm is pretty much the standard height for a fridge.

Great fridge for a great price

For a shorter fridge, you will get standard width which is 635cm.

Do you or anyone in your household have a Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card or Low Income Health Care Card from Centrelink or a Veterans' Affairs Gold Card?

Just to let you know before hand only one per house!

I'm a big fan of finding somebody moving overseas or interstate on Gumtree and selling their house full of furniture cheap.
You can be reasonably confident there is nothing wrong with the item, and for something like a fridge can easily save over $1000 on new prices.
If you have a tow bar, you can do the Bunnings trailer trick to collect it, if it isn't too far.

    • What's the bunnings trick? Buy something large from them and borrow a trailer, pick up your fridge then return the unwanted item and trailer back to bunnings?

      • Yes, assuming you don't have a friend to lend you one.
A long bit of timber would be the cheapest way.

  • Not sure if the Kogan Fridges are any good - but they doo look cheap for the size: 535L for $599 plus delivery
