SanDisk 240GB Extreme 500 Portable SSD SDSSDEXT-240G-G25 $80 (Free Click & Collect in Enfield NSW or + Postage) @ Skycomp

140

Seems like a pretty good price for a portable 240GB SSD from SanDisk, even though it was launched 2 years ago and not as fast as the current Samsung T5. If speed is not a major concern, this may be worth the price. Note that it uses the microUSB 3.0 connector instead of USB-C.

Real world tests conducted by techadvisor.co.uk showed a sequential read speed of 398.3 MB/s and sequential write speed of 203.4 MB/s.

A quick calculation on the skycomp website showed the following postage cost options to Melbourne:
Domestic - Registered : $12.2
Domestic - Registered with TransitCover : $13.25
Domestic - Express (1-3 days) : $29
Domestic - Express (1-3 days) with TransitCover : $30.05

Can confirm. I used to not downvote. I don't like making people feel bad. But then I got downvoted for the smallest things. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Feels good to spread a little of my frustration around the internet. And it's free. Thanks for the tip :)

@ozbjunkie: Hahahah! I knew my comment would get a few downvotes. Makes me feel vindicated somewhat.
