Mr Fresh has 20% off as part of the AfterPay Day sales. They have the Hatomugi Skin conditioning gel and skin conditioner (hydrating toner) listed at $13 with free delivery, and they are now $10.40 after applying the 20% off AFTERYAY code.

Though not as cheap as last time here and here, this does seem to be the cheapest price at the moment as there are no eBay codes that apply to these products. Mr Fresh is also on eBay and have been selling these products for a while.

Both products are excellent hydrating products contain job's tears/Coix seed extract, have no fragrance or added colour and is low-irritant. They retail at around 700 yen in Japan. Official website (Japanese only - use Google Translate).

    I read amazon.co.jp review and that were good for some but strongly not recommend for sensitive skin.

      Yes they do contain methy paraben listed at the end of the ingredient list. If you react badly to that particular ingredient or would prefer products without parabens, then yeah I'd avoid.

      Having said that, methy paraben is a widely-used preservative in beauty products, and generally considered non-irritating. A friend with very sensitive skin has managed to use the skin conditioning gel without issue. So I'd say it depends on the person.

    • Ha same, it was on top of the Cosme award list so I bought the gel there.

      I've only used the gel, I think it depends on where you can fit it into your routine. If you already have a hydrating toner, then perhaps the gel is better, for example. The gel sits very nicely under sunscreen.
