Since it's a first generation device with moving parts, i'd rather wait and see how it holds up. After all, this product is a result of technology not being adequate enough to completely remove the bezels and integrate all the sensors.
You definitely need as much RAM as a desktop PC for a phone, that's totally not a waste of money.
